RW Electric is based in Kingston, Ontario and serves clients across Eastern Ontario, including Belleville, Brockville, Cornwall, and the surrounding regions. As a division of KROON, we can also draw on additional resources for larger projects across Ontario and Quebec.

We provide electrical field services and engineering for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients — including energized and de-energized maintenance, commissioning and testing, troubleshooting and repairs, pole line and substation construction, traffic and street lighting systems, and engineering studies such as arc flash, coordination, and power quality analysis.
Does RW Electric work on high voltage systems?
Yes. Our teams are qualified to work on low, medium, and high voltage systems, from routine maintenance and testing through substation and pole line construction.

RW Electric is a division of KROON. RW has served Eastern Ontario since 1967 and joined KROON to combine local expertise with the broader capabilities and resources of the KROON organization, part of BCES Global.
Are RW Electric's services compliant with CSA Z462®?
Yes. All work is performed in accordance with CSA Z462® (Workplace Electrical Safety), the Canadian Electrical Code, and applicable ESA requirements in Ontario. Our arc flash studies and electrical safety training help clients meet the same standards at their own facilities.
Can RW Electric perform maintenance without shutting down my facility?
In many cases, yes. Our energized maintenance services — including infrared thermography scanning — allow us to inspect and assess equipment while it remains in operation. Where a shutdown is required, we plan de-energized maintenance around your schedule to minimize downtime.
